Third Time's a charm...or maybe not....

It all starts like this....a piece of paper and an idea. 

 Then the hard part.....figuring out how to make it fit. 

I tried some of my rusty math skills and after 2 misguided attempts, I thought I had it solved.  

To my dismay, it was too big. 

Way too small, too small, and way to big.......

so....the 4th time was the charm.

And finally, my completed Album Star block!!  WooHoo!!  Love it!!

Finished T-shirt Quilt

Shew!!  I have been sew busy starting and finishing projects in the last week that I have not taken time to update my facebook status or added to my blog.  Being the huge procrastinator that I am, I have to have a T-shirt quilt for a customer done by the end of the month.  I started and finished it last week.  I talked to the quilter this morning and it is on the frame....somehow, it will be done.

 The customers grandson went to Bowling Green University and brought me T-shirts and photos to use in his memory quilt.  We made one for you a year or so ago using his high school stuff.  She is anxious to get it back!!

here is my first blog post ever..... this is all  new to me.  i love my facebook page and love to share pictures of what i am working on.  i have read a lot of blogs to find new projects.  i can't wait to join new groups and finish some projects.
